Taper Bushes and Locking Sets
Taper Bushes
Sati can supply a wide range of bushes, that is all the standard types. Following bushes are always available ex stock:

Every bush can be supplied with different bore size – either in metric series (mm) or in inches- according to customer‘s requirement.
Morover, every bore has a keyway according to UNI 6604 – DIN 6885 – B.S.46:part.1:1958 regulations.
Bushes are made in cast iron EN-GJL-250 UNI EN 1561. If a taperlock sprocket not included in the range of standard is required, a welded hub can be used. The required type of bush depends on the dimension of the welded hub and it is included in the following range:

The material used for welded hubs is c45 according to UNI EN 10083-1 regulations.
Locking Sets
The advantages of the locking devices are as follows:
• elimination of play between the shaft and the part driven
• uniform distribution of the load over the entire diameter
• facility of synchronisation between the various possible parts connected as a set
• reduction of the diameter (of project) of the drive shaft
• increase of the resistant section of the drive shaft
• reduction of the procurement times for machine assembly
• maintenance facilitated with no need to stop the machine
• availability of spare parts by main sub-suppliers of technical equipment.
The material used for the locking devices is c45 according to UNI EN 10083-1 regulations.
